Understanding Pediatric Feeding Disorders: A Guide for Caregivers

Register for a free webinar: Tuesday, October 17, 2023 7pm to 8:30pm

Feeding challenges are considered a disorder when they are severe enough to affect a child’s health or growth, cause the child to be underweight or overweight, cause specific nutrient deficiencies, or lead to significant child and family disruption on a daily basis. An estimated 25% of all children have a feeding disorder. Early diagnosis and treatment are extremely important.

This webinar will focus on the following:
• The characteristics of a feeding disorder and how they differ from typical picky eating
• One – two approaches/strategies to address common roadblocks in a child’s feeding journey
• Understanding when and how an evaluation in a feeding disorders clinic is appropriate

Speakers:
Michelle Melicosta, MD, MPH, Kathryn Davis, RD, Katherine Stevens, MS, OTR/L, Christina Keeney, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, Sarah Haney, PhD, BCBA-D, Jennifer Del Re, MS, CCC-SLP, CLC, Moderated by Kennedy Krieger CEO and President Dr. Brad Schlaggar
